Alittle something blue and I Won!!!

I decided that my plain white shoes were just too plain so i added a little something to them. Actually a little something blue to them. I put these cute royal blue letters on the back of my shoes that say "I Do" My picture quality is not so good and i was having some trouble out of my camera.

Speaking of camera, guess what i won today????? Any ideas????

How awesome is that... I never win anything so when i opened my email this morning and had an email saying that i had won the camera from the blog WeddingObsession.com. Here is a picture of it from there website. Now i sure enough will not have to worry about problems with my camera because i will soon have a new one.

I heart shoes!!!

We have a house!!! Woo Hoo we actually will be closing on our little home this coming Monday. I have been picking paint colors and deciding where i am going to put furniture and then trying to set up our water, gas, cable, telephone and everything else. Boy is house buying exhausting!!! I am just so tired and just ready for us to get the keys. We are so so excited because we have so many plans that we want to do. Well enough of that lets get to the fun stuff.

So mean while i made alittle shopping stop and pickup some something wedding related since the wedding plans have been put alittle on hold for the past month or so. I finally bought my shoes and i am so glad that i waited because i found some that i really really love. They are just so awesome and so far beside my dress they are my favorite thing. Please excuse my feet they really need so see a pedicure very soon.

MIA but lots of DIY

Sorry I've been MIA here lately its just that life has taken a busy street the past couple of months. It just seems like everyday there is just so much to do. The BF and i are house hunting and we have found a couple that we really love. We actually go Saturday to meet our realtor to look at the inside of the houses. This will be the first home for the both of us and we are just so excited about moving things along. FYI just 8 months till our wedding and i really need to get my butt in gear. Anyways i have a couple of pictures to share of some things i have been doing lately and i made a little trip to Michael's and bought a couple of really exciting things that i just have to share. First i bought my garter that i will be keeping. FI is a huge Alabama Football Fan and i found this a couple of months ago and had forgotten about it. I think it will be cute because it will match his cake and thanks to my sweet FI for being my arm model (no i don't have really hairy arms LOL). Then on my Michael's run today i found these cute iron on's. I am going to use the "I DO" and iron these on a cute pair of white panties. I may use the other for a cute hoodie or something. I also bought a picture frame from Michael's that you have your guest write you messages on the mat. I saw these a couple of months ago and just had to have one. So thanks to a 50% off coupon i got me one of these little cuties. I am going to put it on a stand in our reception area for our guest to sign. Finally, I finally finished my card box (yeah) actually i should say the FI and i have finished it because he did a lot of help. I think it turned out to be really cute and i cant wait to put my E-Pic's in it and show it off. Well off to eat some lasagna that i made for the FI. Hope everyone is having a great week and i sure have missed blogging.

Its Finally Friday!!!

Sorry i've been MIA for so long. I had a wonderful time at the beach and we took ton's of pictures. My dad has gotten really sick in the past week so i am asking you to please say a prayer for him today for a speedy recovery.
I am super excited about Saturday. I am going to meet with a floral designer to talk about some design. I think he will do good i just hope he is not too expensive. I figure if he is well at least i can get some ideas on things. So sorry this one is short today but, i have got lots of work to do so hope you all have a wonderful Friday!!!

Checking off the list.

I was packing for my beach trip (leave tomorrow) and i remembered that i had to show you what i finally finished. I finished my reefs for the front door of my church. I just love them and think they are beautiful.

I have been packing like a mad dog since 5:00 i always want to take so much stuff and usually end up only wearing half of the clothes i brought. So this year i am only taking what i need haha that is just working out wonderfully :) I will be spending a lovely week long vacation with my fiance and his family at the beach. I am super excited about it and just so glad to be getting away from everything. I'm sure i will have ton's of pictures to share with everyone when I'm done.

Bling Bling Bling

Today i went to check out some men's wedding bands. J's aunt just got married and just so happen her new hubby is the owner of a local jewelry store so i decided to drop by there and check out what they had. J does not want anything with bling or shiny so i checked out the titanium rings. I am just not really sure what would be the best choice. So my question is what type of metal have you picked out for your fiance's finger?

Also i got another piece to my wedding day jewelry. I now have my earrings and a bracelet. My mom actually bought me my bracelet for Easter so i finally went and picked up my earrings. I just love love love them and i am so excited about getting to wear them. This is my earrings. I have always loved something about chandelier earrings and i really wanted something that would show up since i will be wearing my hair down.
